Question by TLM: Do I need a visa to dive in the red sea?
I would like to stay in sharm el shaykh to go scuba diving. I've heard that you need a visa to be able to do this, not to stay there but to dive from there. Is this correct? If so why? and how do I get one?

I am doing my PADI Open Water Dive Course next week and the week after in Gildenburgh Water lake in the UK. I will be diving with a drysuit as the water temparature is around 4oC! I did my Discover Scuba in Thailand in a wetsuit. I would like to know if it is more difficult diving in a drysuit and what differences are there?????

im an average swimmer but i can't dive!! i always bend my knees, or make a belly flop. i only can dive off the edge of the swimming pool not on the block. This is causing me maybe 5 seconds of my time. any GOOD solutions on diving???

Ive been to Krabi and i thought it was fab. Now how does snorkelling and diving compare in Bali ? Are the corals good ?

There is some great spots near the Phi Phi Islands for diving. The water is so clear that you can see forever.

I'm going scuba diving in Florida next week and was packing my gear, is my wetsuit which is a 2pc bib style I think prolly 6.5mm thick going to be too warm for Florida (Orlando area, springs and maybe Gulf side diving i.e. Venice Beach)? I do get cold easily but I'm more used to Pacific water which is generally colder anyhow, so I'd hate to be too warm.

I am looking to spend 14 nights in Egypt but would like to divide my time between the Red Sea for diving (possibly Sharm-El-Sheikh) and also Luxor for the Egyptian ruins and Pyramids.
