I'm going all up the east coast of Australia in July (Melbourne-Cairns). I am from the United States and here July is our summer and there it's your winter. What are the winters like in Australia? Just my wife and I will be going. We don't want to spend more than $ 3000 for the entire vacation including flight from Jax Florida. Looking for resort on a quiet beach with house reef for snorkeling and or side trips to nearby snorkeling, kayaking, and maybe some fishing. We're thinking about Belize, though I have also heard Barbados is nice.

Anyone been snorkeling there, water very deep? is it worth a trip?? I can't dive nor let alone swim, but I've snorkeled several times in Hawaii, Maldives, and in Thailand, so this wouldn't be any different right?

80 may be a little tough unless you bring a partner. you will need certification.
My wife and i are a little older and are restricted to lesser depths but you can find it all there, and the price was outstanding day trip and food was the best.

My friends and I are going down the the Florida Keys this summer and it's pretty much been a life long dream for me to dive with manta rays, so I was hoping that while I was down there, I would be able too. However, when I do searches for Florida manta ray diving I seem to not get too much, but enough to keep my hopes up.
