My husband and I are going to Cozumel in March. I have never went swimming in the ocean much less scuba diving. (Got certified in a lake). I am very nervous. Anyone know any good dive spots. Anything I need to watch out for?

In order to go to the southern Caribbean, you have to take at least a 7 day cruise and I am only taking a 5, so it will have to be western or eastern.

Ras Mohamed ( in sharm el sheikh, and sure it's the best)
EL Gouna is awesome too ( in hurghada)
Dahab ( about 90 minutes from sharm el sheikh)
Marsa alam, this one is not famous and well known like the others but it's very good, i enjoyed it.

Ambergris if you are looking for decent diving that is fairly close to shore.

There is so little information and videos about diving in Sudan, I decided to upload this video. Our ship wat the M/V Sherezade, and she is in a class of her own. 11 crew, place for 18 divers, spacious, luxurious and fast. The crew were amazing, and i will miss them for a long time to come! My mom and I were looking into vacations and found ourselves stumped. We want to go somewhere for 10-ish days, and it has to be warm. We were thinking tropical islands with activities to offer such as parasailing and snorkeling/scuba diving. We want clear, blue waters with white sands, and probably a villa or beach-side rental "house", and so on. Please help us decide, it's a toss up between Bali and the Maldives as of

Why the hell did they kill those sharks that theythink"might have" killed that German tourist?

There was no evidence that those sharks where the ones that killed that women, and any way when you go diving in the RED SEA there is obviously a risk of a shark attack, it's not our Territory's's the sharks, why are they going around killing these innocent and beautiful creatures for the sake of a few snobbyholiday makers feeling safe!

The cheapest 'dive' housing is little more than a ziplock bag, rated to 5m and completely pointless for diving.

Which is better for a 3 day Hawaiian vacation - Maui, Kauai, or the Big Island?

I'm going there in August with my wife and 2 kids (ages 5 and 6).
I've been to Oahu already and want to see another island.
Any recommendations among these 3?
I will be renting a car so I'd like to drive around the island and see as much as possible in 3 days.
Not interested in scuba diving/snorkeling/surfing.
Just need rest and relaxation, fun in the sun and on the beaches.
I'd like to

I am going to Maui for 2 weeks in April. I am a 24 year old guy. I love adventurous activities. I.E. High Diving. I have my advanced cert. for scuba. Surfing ext. I would love ideas and locations to scuba or surf or anything that sort. Also any suggestions on a great hotel that is located with great beaches? Thank you for your help. I will love it

Ok Ive done my research and i know that Lombok is the quite version of Bali with more natural beauty. The problem is that reaching Lombok by public boat will be very tiring for my 2 daughters and taking return flights or private boats ( only for 3 days in Lombok ) seems very expensive. Not only do i have to pay high for Lombok but the same or more to Gili Travangan. So i want to know this ............

When scuba diving, what do you do if water leaks into your scuba mask? I've never been scuba diving before only snorkeling and sometimes if I accidentally breath out through my nose, it breaks the seal and water gets into my mask. Now with snorkeling it's not a problem because you just swim back to the surface and empty the mask. But what about when you scuba dive?

Caribbean Cruise Help?
Im going on a Caribbean cruise, but Im not sure which one to chose.
In order to go to the southern Caribbean, you have to take at least a 7 day cruise and I am only taking a 5, so it will have to be western or eastern.
PS I do not want anything in the Bahamas. Ive been there..something different please =)

Hello. I'm trying to find a last minute 3 night package for Tgiving to Cozumel. I found a good rate at the Occdental Allegro and Fiesta American dive resort (about $ 100 per night) but was wondering if these resorts have unlimited shore diving? I am more interested in the diving then I am the all inclusive but I am going solo and really want to just dive and relax instead of walking/cabing it to town and
